Welcome to Benhome
BENHOME is a 79 bed low care age facility. It provides care and services to its residents as defined in the aged care act 1997.
Benhome is operated by Maitland Benevolent Society, which is a registered charity that has been operating in excess of 140 years.
Currently 72 staff members are employed at Benhome. These staff members are employed in a number of areas including administration, provisional care, kitchen, laundry, domestic, gardening and maintenance.
The Chief Executive Officer, Andy Fullerton is the coordinator of the facility who directs the running of Benhome with care and compassion. Care Supervisor is Yvonne Risson EN, who is well experienced in providing the standard of care and comfort required by this facility. Benhome is providing 20 Community Aged Care Packages (CACP's). A CACP is an individually tailored package of care services which helps the people with lots of different care needs to stay living at home by coordinating the different services they need. Benhome runs 20 CACP packages.
